What do the next steps look like?
Step One : Get in touch
Send me an email or message on socials to confirm I'm available on your wedding day.
Step Two : Questionnaire
This is such an important day of your life. I want to make sure I am a good fit as your photographer. I will send over a questionnaire to your email and await your response.
Step Three : Booking
Once I have read over your questionnaire, and I believe I would be a good fit for you, we will discuss the amount of coverage you would like and budget. From there I will send over an invoice. 25% of the total will be due to hold your wedding date. Until this is paid- your date is not booked. Once its paid and the contract is signed- Your date is held!!!
Step Four : Coffee Date
Depending on your location we can schedule a date to meet up for coffee, or jump on a phone call. We will run over your time line. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you would like too. This is optional-
Step Five : Your wedding day
I will arrive 15- 30 minutes early to prepare for our scheduled time. Photograph your wedding & Congratulate you!! If you wish to wait until you have a photo from me to post your marriage you won't need to wait too long. With in 48 hours I will have sent a link to a handful of downloadable images to your email for your social updates and help you wait for your full gallery.
Step Six : Gallery Delivery!
Last step! Once your gallery is edited I will send over your gallery to your email for download.
How long util you receive your full wedding gallery? My wedding turn around time varies (depending on time of year and length of wedding day photographed) some can be as short as 4 days to 4 weeks... I know crazy! I don't promise this timeline because life happens.. In case something crazy happens... But you won't be waiting months ----Woohoo!!! My priority is to get your images back to you as soon as possible.
FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
Popular wedding dates can book up as far as 1 year out. I only take on a certain number of weddings a year. So the sooner we can book you in, the better!
Can you hold my wedding date?
Absolutely! Once the retainer is paid, contract is signed- Your date is held!
Are ENGAGEMENT sessions included?
My wedding packages do not include engagement sessions. I do have a couple options for engagement. You can find them linked below.
Do you offer a second shooter?
Yes! A second shooter can be useful for a large wedding, a second angle, or help with organizing family formals. Please contact me if you're considering a second shooter and we can talk about options.
What type of gear do you use?
I shoot on a high end Canon mirrorless camera- R6ii- I often have my 50mm on my camera but I also have a zoom lens. I always carry a back up camera with me- though I have never needed to use it on a wedding day-it's just there incase.
Will you be the one photographing our wedding?
Yes, who you book is who you get. I know some photographers send associates to photograph their couples wedding days but I want to be there. From the wedding day till the gallery delivery.
Why do you photograph weddings?
The short answer is because I love weddings. Long answer- For me, it's the little moments that bring me to literal tears on your special day. I feel so close to my couples. I care about all your little details that make your day unique. I just feel honoured to capture such an incredible time in your life, I do not take it for granted.
How long will I have to download my images?
Your wedding gallery will be available for 2 weeks. After these 2 weeks you will be responsible of your images. I would highly suggest downloading them to two places, one as a back up. In this time you may allow any family members to download images from your gallery too.
What will you be wearing to the wedding?
Typically I wear black, maybe a pop of colour.. I'm all over the place.
